I work with adults and couples seeking to increase compassion and capacity for happiness. I focus on problem-solving, conflict resolution, peace, contentment, positive outlook, resilience, and mindful living.

My approach

I utilize dialectical behavioral therapy techniques with an existential present focus. I relate clearly to encourage positive change and help you discover new perspectives on challenges.

My communication style

I offer video sessions with a small number of clients so I can devote myself fully to your concerns without judgment. I practice and encourage compassion, starting where you are. I strive for clear, authentic communication and subscribe to the golden rule.

My journey to mental healthcare

My family is from Mexican and German cultures. My upbringing included acculturation, joys, and traumas. I've always been curious about how people act and interact, and how to solve problems. I've seen that resilient individuals cultivate a positive outlook. I practice mindfulness and gratitude.

When we encounter obstacles to peace and contentment, communication helps resolve conflicts. Exploring concerns and history often leads to useful options. We all need encouragement, and this increases our positive outlook on problem-solving.
