Hi there, I'm Lisa!

If this is you...feeling alone, misunderstood and unsupported. Are you having difficulty managing the challenges in your life? Are you living a life unfulfilled and without purpose? Are you just existing and not living? You are not alone, let me help. I want to empower you to see and reach beyond your circumstances. Who you are, where you are, and what you are experiencing today does not have to be your tomorrow. Together, we will embark on a journey to peace while traveling on the road of authenticity, self-discovery, and self-love.

My approach

Imagine Me...Piece by Peace "becoming who I'm meant to be". Although many of our problems are similar, each of us is uniquely different. Together, we will design a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. A treatment plan grounded in your experiences and your truth. I draw from a wide range of therapeutic approaches to achieve optimal results. My approach draws from Adlerian, client-centered, coaching, cognitive behavioral (CBT), existential, experiential, family systems, Gestalt, grief, humanistic, interpersonal, mindfulness-based, motivational interviewing, narrative, object relations, psychodynamic, rational emotive behavior (REBT), reality, relational, solution-focused, and trauma-focused modalities.

My focus

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with issues such as addiction, ADHD, alcohol use, aging, antisocial personality, anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, career challenges, childhood difficulties, chronic pain, depression, divorce, domestic violence, drug abuse, dual diagnosis, family conflict, grief, job stress, life transitions, mood disorders, OCD, personality disorders, relapse prevention, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual abuse, spirituality, stress, substance use, trauma and PTSD and women's issues. I also work with older adults.

My communication style

I listen attentively and respond with empathy, honesty, and respect. In a collaborative dialogue, we'll explore your unique challenges and goals. My communication style is warm yet direct, fostering self-reflection to help you gain clarity and move towards positive change.

My journey to mental healthcare

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling and my education provided me with the foundation to pursue a career dedicated to helping others improve their mental well-being and live more fulfilling lives.

My goals for you

My goal is to equip and empower you with the skills to make positive and effective changes.

My first session with you

Will be to create a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to become who you are meant to be.
