My communication style

My main goal is to provide a safe space that allows processing and increases self-awareness. Through consistency and predictability, I work alongside you to develop a space where you feel comfortable opening up. I reflect your words back to you and create room for exploration without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up with Salvadoran immigrant parents who had different parenting styles. I learned that love alone sometimes isn't enough to heal childhood pain. I became curious to understand them while growing up between two worlds. I see pain in others and want to be a space for support and hope.

My goals for you

I use curiosity to explore the goals you want to work on. I reflect the comments and statements you share during sessions to create goals with you that feel meaningful and achievable.

Our first session

During the first session, I gather information about symptoms and behaviors affecting your day-to-day life. I create a safety plan if necessary and develop a treatment plan based on your goals. I also review consent forms and related documents to ensure you understand the process and feel comfortable moving forward.
