I have experience in the field of mental health. My focus areas of practice are with individuals and families across the lifespan.

My focus

The clients I typically work with are battling mental illness, cancer, end-stage renal disease, or other illnesses. I have experience working with patients on hemodialysis and with other chronic illnesses. I also have experience with patients in inpatient/outpatient mental health settings.

My approach

My approach is strengths-based and focuses on insight development and personal growth. Each approach is individualized and focuses on meeting each individual where they are.

My communication style

My communication style is very gentle and focuses on a strength-based approach. I help patients cope with difficult transitions with physical and/or mental illnesses.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always loved helping people. I have a bachelor's in psychology. I spent many years on the other side of patient care as a caregiver of my father, who battled many chronic and terminal illnesses. I was inspired by the field of Social Work. I have been blessed and honored to help hundreds of individuals and families since then!

My goals for you

Goal setting with clients starts with their assessment needs. When a client starts therapy, the client and I will discuss what they are hoping for through therapy.

The first session will be getting to know each other and coming up with a treatment plan to best help the client.
