Hi there, I'm Parwin!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in San Diego, California. In addition to providing Telehealth services, I am working with adults who experience stress, anxiety, depression, and also individuals who are diagnosed with Schizophrenia in an Intensive Outpatient Program.
My focus
My vast experience in working with older adults, however, currently I am working with all adult age ranges who may be dealing with unforeseen changes, life stressors, and mental health diagnoses. I help clients examine their situation and their role in it, process their emotions, and pursue new courses of thought and actions.
My approach
My approach to therapy is to integrate different methods and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, where the clients can expect to spend some time discussing how challenging situations, emotions, and behaviors affect their lives.
