I strive to communicate in a warm, respectful, and collaborative way. My tone in treatment is supportive, encouraging, and non-judgmental, while also being honest and thoughtful. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to explore difficult topics at their own pace and feel genuinely heard.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to the mental health field through a strong interest in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and recognizing the impact of their lived experiences, culture, and identity. My journey has reinforced the importance of creating safe and affirming spaces where healing can occur at a pace that feels respectful and empowering.

I support clients in identifying goals that feel realistic, meaningful, and aligned with their readiness and capacity. I prioritize ongoing check-ins to monitor progress, celebrate growth, and adapt treatment goals as clients’ needs evolve.

Our first session

During our first session, I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. We’ll also review logistics, boundaries, and confidentiality, and discuss next steps for treatment moving forward.
