I excel in working with various cultural, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds with respect to the unique challenges of assimilation and integration. I take a holistic approach toward the goal of empowerment.

My focus

I work best with high-functioning, type-A, goal-oriented clients who have always done as they should. Clients who have encountered a transition or situation where suddenly the known ways of pushing through, repressing, and avoiding stop working. I work well with new moms, 20-somethings, and men.

My approach

I work to understand the what, with empathy and respect. I work collaboratively, validating and acknowledging the resources available, whether they are within you or in reach. If you are feeling trapped, stuck, or helpless in your circumstances, I want to help find a way out.

My communication style

I have been described as direct, compassionate, and empowering. Therapy should be a safe place, and I meet you where you are. This looks like listening, validating, normalizing, and holding space.

My journey to mental healthcare

I see people as Rubik's cubes, every angle comes from my background in psychology, philosophy, religion, and financial planning. I'm interested in finding a solution that makes the best sense for a person at this time.

I approach goals collaboratively, and we work to find a path forward with growth and healing. Once the challenge is overcome, symptoms are reduced, and the learning curve is met, my role shifts to a supportive, encouraging, and validating space. I want you to live in your truth, have your voice heard, and find peace.

Our first session

Our first session focuses on what brings you to therapy. There's intake paperwork to gather information on symptoms and history contributing to your current distress. The first session is also an opportunity to check the vibe; therapeutic effectiveness depends largely on the therapeutic relationship.
