My communication style

I aim to create a safe place where clients feel comfortable talking about the issues and experiences impacting their lives. It is my goal to encourage and empower individuals to play an active role in their healing process.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been intrigued by the helping profession and mental health. I first experienced the opportunity while working in a Skilled Nursing Facility as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Although I enjoyed the work, I took a particular interest in learning more about the individuals I worked with and how their conditions affected them.

My goals for you

I take a client-centered approach to goal setting. Getting to know the client beyond their condition will offer a new perspective to both the therapist and client on what they want and what they’d like to do.

Our first session

A discussion of the client's purpose for seeking therapy, therapy goals, and getting a snapshot of what 'healing' looks like to the client. From there, both the client and therapist can get a better sense of how to develop a treatment approach to meet their needs.
