I am a licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist who works with individuals and couples to help restore motivation, goals, and a positive outlook on life. I have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and addressing men's issues specifically.
My approach
I work collaboratively with all my clients to ensure your needs are met. No matter what you have gone through or are currently experiencing, I believe you can reclaim the best version of yourself. My approach draws from client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, positive psychology, and solution-focused techniques.
My focus
I specialize in helping individuals deal with anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, and job stress. I also focus on cultural stress, sexual orientation, transgender issues, and gender identity.
My communication style
My communication style is warm, non-judgmental, and focused on understanding your unique experience and perspective. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and validated as we work together to achieve your goals.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master's in Counseling (MC) from the University of Phoenix. My educational journey, along with my life experiences, have instilled in me a deep passion for helping others overcome obstacles and live fulfilling lives. I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental healthcare and support in their journey of personal growth and healing.
My goals for you
My goal is to empower you with the skills, insights, and resilience needed to navigate life's challenges, gain a clearer sense of self, and cultivate more positive relationships and experiences. Through our work together, I hope to help you develop a toolkit of coping strategies, shift limiting thought patterns, and connect with your innate strengths and wisdom.
