I work with every type of person using evidence-based approaches. Everyone has a unique life experience and deserves individualized treatment according to their culture and perceptions. I become deeply attuned to each person and tailor my approach to what is best for that individual.

I work with nearly every type of person from every type of setting. We are all unique individuals, and gaining insight and understanding is an important part of the therapeutic alliance. I treat adults and older adolescents.

I utilize treatment approaches depending on your situation and what fits you best. I am well-versed in psychodynamic approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, systems therapy, and trauma treatment of various modalities, as specific traumas dictate varying approaches and utilize a synergy of approaches for the best outcomes.

My communication style

I am a practitioner who is capable of building rapport quickly with most clients. I try to establish an open and welcoming environment for the client where they feel in control of the session and pacing, yet also have an awareness of consistent positive therapeutic gains.

My journey to mental healthcare

I deeply enjoy the therapeutic process and the evolution of change that occurs within the progression of therapy. I believe unyieldingly in the resiliency of people to make positive progress in their journey through life and navigate the obstacles that may come their way.

My goals for you

Goal setting is established in a natural manner with the client at the onset of therapy to get an overarching picture of areas in which the client is seeking symptom relief, skills, growth, or insight.

Our first session

During the first session, the client can expect to gain a connection as well as insight into some of the underpinnings of the identified issues that brought them into therapy. A collaborative environment will be established, and the pacing of the process will be determined based on the client's level of comfort.
