I'm Susan McGarry LCSW, with over twenty years working with clients who are experiencing depression and anxiety as they work through life transitions, including relationships with Intimate Partner Violence.

I work with each client using client-centered, positive, strength-based, respectful, and compassionate communication, working towards emotionally healthy and fulfilling lives.
My focus
I work with adults who are experiencing depression and anxiety as they navigate through life transitions. I additionally have twenty years of experience working with clients who have been or are in relationships with Intimate Partner Violence. I have also worked with clients who have Child Protective Services involvement.

My focus is to create a caring, client-focused, respectful, and emotionally safe environment for the client as they work through their concerns.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have worked for over twenty years with clients who have been/are in toxic relationships and struggle with self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. My passion arose to support these clients as they work towards healthy, strong, confident, happy lives.
My goals for you
The client and I will work together to set goals, both long-term and weekly, and to reassess these goals as needed.
My first session with you
The first session with be reviewing the client's reasons for seeking therapy, describing my style, and reviewing the clients' history.
