Sherlyn Johnson, LCSW. My therapeutic approach focuses on changing problematic behaviors, feelings, and thoughts by discovering their unconscious meanings and motivations. Patients learn about themselves by exploring their interactions in the therapeutic relationship.

My most common theoretical approaches are psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive therapy.

I have always been passionate about helping others. I enjoy deepening my understanding of human behavior and developing others. During the therapeutic process, clients will explore how the human mind can function in wholeness while learning to make a difference in their lives.

Building rapport and getting to know the clients by asking questions about their history, including childhood questions, education, relationships (family, romantic, friends), their current living situation, and their current career path.
