My name is Michelle Ho! I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing since 2005. My areas of specialty are family, individual, and couple's therapy. I also have extensive experience with addiction therapy and working with individuals who have substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I'm also open to other approaches to meet my clients where they are at in their lives. I'm open to just listening and offering feedback when is requested of me.
My focus
I have 20 years of experience working with the public and private sectors. I have worked with professionals, homeless clients, criminal justice clients, adolescents, and adults. I'm comfortable in both the telehealth and in-person settings.
My communication style
I'm very open and transparent with my clients. I will provide feedback when needed and will openly provide updates on progress towards treatment.
My journey to mental healthcare
I believe I was put on this earth to make a difference in people's lives. I believe in the power of healing through words of affirmation and active listening.
