I'm empathetic and open-minded. I create a safe environment where you feel comfortable and can be yourself. I always go at the pace you set, fostering a space where you feel safe revealing the most intimate, private vulnerabilities of your life. I'm committed to building collaborative, trusting relationships.

My journey to mental healthcare

I always wanted to help people, although I did not have a dream of being a therapist. After about ten years of working in the mental health field, I finally decided to be brave and apply to graduate school to become a therapist. My natural disposition for listening, caring for others, and empathy made becoming a therapist the perfect job for me.

My goals for you

I gather relevant information, including why you've come to therapy, and ask what your goals are. If needed through that process I can provide suggestions, but the goals are yours, not mine to decide. Together we promote real, lasting change at the pace you set.

Our first session

In the first session I go over your history so I can better understand you and the reason you're seeking therapy. You can also decide if you think I'm a good fit, as it's important that you like your therapist for treatment to work.
