I'm a Social Worker and have had over 10 years of experience working with clients in a variety of settings. I absolutely love working with clients as they learn to smile again through whatever situation it is that they find themselves in at the time. Personally, I love traveling, photography, and spending time with my family and my dog.
My focus
I have worked with clients who have experienced domestic violence/IPV, foster care and adoption, NICU, long-term medical hospitalizations, grief/loss, homelessness, and caregiving stress.
My approach
I don't believe that one form of therapy works for everyone, and I think that it is important to get to know people and utilize a modality that works with each person. I also believe that some techniques, just like goals, need to change over time. Common modalities are CBT, person-centered, and solution-focused.
