My communication style

My style is empathetic, personal, and solution-focused. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore past and current experiences, thinking patterns, and beliefs that need adjustment to help you become happier, healthier, and more functional.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always had a strong desire to help people see the best that lives inside them. Too often, we're consumed by failures or past traumas, burying our strength and beauty. I see my purpose as helping you move through the negative to recognize the positive light within you.

My goals for you

I collaborate with you to identify your treatment goals. Together, we develop measurable objectives that track positive progress. As we move through therapy, we'll periodically revisit and adjust your goals as treatment progresses.

Our first session

The first session includes assessment and goal setting, as well as an opportunity to get to know each other. I usually incorporate psychoeducation to help you understand the focus of treatment and instill hope that change can and will happen.
