As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in treating child and adolescent mental health issues and providing parental support. With a Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to help young people and their families navigate life's challenges.

My therapeutic approach is practical, solution-focused, and relational. I believe effective work with adolescents requires a careful balance of building trust and delivering aid to both the youth and the parent. I tailor my treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual and family.

My focus

I work with a diverse range of young people facing various mental health struggles. This includes those suffering from depression, anxiety, psychosis, self-harming behaviors, and the effects of trauma. I also have experience supporting LGBTQIA+ youth, including those who are transgender or gender non-conforming.

My journey into mental healthcare began with earning my Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Long Beach. I was drawn to this field by a deep desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young people facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Since then, I've dedicated my career to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to help clients thrive.

During our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy and begin getting to know one another. I'll gather information about your child's background, strengths, and challenges. We'll also collaborate to identify your therapeutic goals and develop an individualized treatment plan. This session is an opportunity for us to start building a trusting relationship and for you to ask any questions you may have.
