Hello, My name is Sandy Allen, LMFT. I take a collaborative stance in working with clients, aiming to establish treatment goals so that progress and growth, as desired by each client, are attainable.
My approach
I aim to truly listen and understand the presenting problem through the eyes of the client; establishing a therapeutic rapport is essential in the healing process. I use an eclectic therapeutic stance, helping clients obtain newfound self-awareness and coping skills.
My focus
I specialize in treating postpartum depression, anxiety, relational problems, and trauma-related disorders.
My communication style
I love to aid clients by reflecting and narrating the undertones of their emotional needs and/or current struggles; helping to make sense of what one is feeling is an essential step in effectively coping and making sense of one's life.

My career path has been driven by a passion to learn and understand what truly helps others grow and thrive. I seek to provide quality and collaborative therapy that adjusts to meet each client's unique needs.

An intake session consists of open-ended questions to understand a client's presenting problems, needs, and to obtain relevant background information.
