I have always wanted to help others help themselves. And I wanted to do it in a profound way. Psychotherapy & life coaching have allowed me to dive deep with people to help them become their best selves. When I'm not doing therapy, I'm making music, hiking, surfing, or reading something thought-provoking. I may even recommend books, movies, etc. to help you dive even deeper and get the most out of our time together.
My approach
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, humanistic, solution-focused therapy, and life coaching. Therapy helps us to repair the past, while coaching helps us to build a better future.
My focus
I typically work with professional working adults or students who are looking to improve their lives in some way. Whether you suffer from trauma, issues with anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I can help.
My communication style
I'm a great listener (occupational hazard not to be haha) and am fairly laid back. My clients report feeling heard, reassured, and supported no matter what they may be going through.
My journey to mental healthcare
My first psychology classes in undergrad were really fascinating. I'm intrigued by the human mind and believe that we can work through even the hardest, darkest things. I've always wanted to help others help themselves, so I was drawn to do this work. I've completed a 10-month life coaching program and have read countless self-help books.
My goals for you
Success looks like whatever you want it to look like. I will help you articulate your goals, how to measure them, and to find ways to move forward towards them.
My first session with you
My first session is all about getting to know you. I want to hear what brought you to therapy and some of your background.
