Hi there, I'm Sharon!

I work with the body and mind, working to keep both in alignment with each other. It becomes easier to reconnect with the best part of ourselves.

My focus

I work with couples, families, and individuals who want better relationships with friends. I also work with dreams. I am most comfortable working with motivated clients. If a client isn't sure they are ready, we can discuss their goals and determine if now is the right time to begin.

My approach

I work with the client to determine what approach will work best for them. Not everyone responds the same way to one particular therapeutic approach. I do use Somatic therapy with clients, if they feel that it is helping, to work through the memories that the body holds onto as well.

My communication style

I am direct in my approach, and my tone is comforting and kind. I'm non-judgmental. I welcome feedback from clients who work with me, so if something is bothering a client about my style, I would want them to talk to me about it.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always wanted to be a therapist. I enjoy people and helping them reach their goals. Sometimes clients don't realize that moving into the future can be hard. What helps is having someone navigate beside them so clients have another pair of eyes looking at the best way to get to the finish line.

My goals for you

I start out my sessions by asking my clients, "Where do you want your life to go?" Then we go from there.

My first session with a client is me listening to what they are struggling with, and then we begin to look at how best to get them moving.
