Hi there, I'm Daniel!

I come from a background consisting of over a decade of clinical and forensic experience, working with vulnerable populations and those afflicted with many types of mental health diagnoses and disorders. I obtained a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and have been practicing as a licensed professional since April of 2024.

The ideal client has a framework of what what they would like to work on, even if it is not a specific or fleshed-out objective.

My approach

I believe therapy is a space where curiosity and honesty meet growth. My approach is both exploratory and grounded. From thoughtful discussion to help you see patterns and possibilities that might not yet be clear, to challenging dissonance in supportive ways that encourage real change.

My communication style

I approach therapy as a learner and understander of your life-- you are the professional of your own reality, and I am learning about it from you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have my own personal journey of mental health recovery and have a high, effective level of management of my own symptoms. I seek to be present with others who are struggling with distress and aid them in identifying methods of coping that will work for them.

My goals for you

Goals are incremental and achievable, not necessary constrained to a timeline. Methods in which to achieve the goals are done in vivo-- there is not always a "perfect situation" to implement techniques outside of treatment, and that is understandable.

Our first session

The first session can be described as both exploratory and incisive-- we will investigate together what the presenting problems seem to be, and begin to craft the path of treatment together.
