Hi there, I'm Sara!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a value for empowerment, education, dignity, and respect. I am an eternal optimist and believe strongly in the practice of training clients to empower themselves through mindfulness practices and trauma processing.

My focus

I have experience working with adult, pre-teen, and teen clients who are struggling with impactful life events, having difficulty navigating ongoing life stressors, and who would benefit from having a safe place to find their voice and tell their story. I also have experience and work well with neurodivergent client tweens and adolescents.

My approach

I bring compassion, empathy, and insight into the therapy room. I am trained in the EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapy. My gentle approach to EMDR allows my clients to process traumatic experiences while reducing any potential re-traumatization. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, believing my clients are experts regarding their own experience.
