My communication style

My style of communication is calm and direct in dealing with challenges. I believe one of the most important aspects of communication is listening and allowing a space for clients to be heard. In listening, I am able to help identify issues and move toward personal growth without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always gravitated toward ways I can help others. I have done this in a variety of settings, like private practice, Neurofeedback, Family Law Court, clinical supervision of interns, residential treatment centers, and juvenile offender programs. I am fascinated by human resilience and the ability to grow and change.

My goals for you

Together with my clients, we will set goals at the onset of treatment. We will work together to achieve those goals or change them throughout the process as necessary. Therapy is a fluid and personal experience, and it is important for us to go at your pace to achieve your goals.

Our first session

I believe in the importance of a connection between client and therapist. In the first session, you can expect that I will work to ensure you are in a comfortable, relaxed environment without judgment. We will review your history and work together to design a path to help you reach your goals. I look forward to working with you!
