Hello, my name is Crystal Carrillo and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. If you are tired of feeling the way you are feeling and ready to take the first step to healing and change, I am here to help. I have an MA in Counseling and service diverse populations ranging from children to older adults.
My approach
My approach is to utilize the theoretical orientation that meets your individual needs and goals. I have knowledge in various therapeutic orientations such as Behavioral Modification, Family Systems Therapy, Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Seeking Safety.
My focus
My areas of expertise include ADD/ADHD, Co-Occurring Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Divorce, Parent-Child Relational Issues, Family Relational Issues, Trauma, Victims of Abuse, Women Issues, Career Changes, Grief and Loss, Bullying, Anger Management, and Life Transitions. I am willing to see individuals and minors aged 13-17.

I strive to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My communication style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I believe in working alongside you to begin your journey of healing and change.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare began with earning my MA in Counseling. I completed my clinical hours for licensure at SPIRITT Family Services in La Puente, CA from August 2009 to August 2010, and at ENKI Health and Research Systems, Inc. in Commerce, CA from December 2010 to April 2014. These experiences working with diverse populations solidified my passion for helping others heal and grow.

My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights needed to overcome challenges, build resilience, and lead a more fulfilling life. Together, we will work on developing healthy coping strategies, improving relationships, and fostering personal growth and self-awareness.

During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and collaborate on creating a personalized treatment plan aligned with your unique needs and goals. I aim to create a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard, validated, and supported as we begin our therapeutic journey together.
