My communication style

I create a very inviting and nonjudgmental tone in sessions. I want you to be who you are, express how you feel, and be your authentic self. I utilize humor and laughter when appropriate and always honor humility and authenticity.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am a therapist because I enjoy helping people, I have overcome barriers in my life, and I love to see people happy and growing. Personal growth is never-ending, and I love being a part of such a meaningful part of the circle of life.

I utilize your desires, then identify barriers and use a strength-based, realistic approach to goal setting using motivational interviewing and realistic expectations of self.

You should expect to share your story as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. I like to learn all about your goals, barriers, and struggles, and create a comfortable tone that makes you feel safe and heard without the pressure of routine and pressured assessments.
