My communication style

I am clear, directive, and empathetic. I will ask questions to prompt you to consider new ways of thinking about things. I will sit in the silence and allow you space to process. I will challenge you, but I am not pushy. Your journey is your journey, and if nothing changes, nothing changes. You will hear me say that a lot.

My journey to mental healthcare

My desire to help people began in college on the streets of Hollywood, where I hung out with homeless people and learned their stories. This led me to obtain both an undergraduate degree and a master's degree in Social Work.

My goals for you

We develop your goals together and ensure they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. I help you reach your goals little by little with practical steps that are realistic for you.

Our first session

In our first session, you'll tell me about yourself and hear about me. I invite you to share your upbringing, family relationships, and education before discussing what brought you to therapy. I'll answer your questions, and then we'll dive into the good stuff.
