Hi there, I'm Carina!

I am a Native Hawaiian and Mexican-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker, based out of San Diego, California. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I work with adolescent and adult clients statewide via telehealth. I am a strong advocate for folks, especially BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ people.

My focus

I have been fortunate to serve clients from varying diversities and backgrounds. I specialize in working with veterans, individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, LGBTQIA+ folks, anxiety, and depression. I am comfortable helping people experiencing various life transitions.

My approach

My primary approaches include Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I tailor my sessions to best serve your needs, goals, and comfort levels. Together, we will create an individualized plan to best suit your needs.
