I communicate respectfully and in a nonjudgmental way. While I provide expert guidance and manage treatment, I believe the patient is the most important member of their care team and an active decision-maker in their treatment plan. My style is straightforward and approachable, ensuring patients feel supported and involved throughout their care.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2009. What drives me is the opportunity to support individuals through difficult times, helping them regain stability and improve their quality of life. I find it rewarding to work collaboratively with patients to develop treatment plans that fit their unique needs and goals.

I approach goal setting as a collaborative process that centers on the patient’s priorities and readiness for change. Together, we identify realistic, meaningful, and achievable goals that address their mental health needs and overall well-being. I break down larger goals into smaller, manageable steps to help track progress and maintain motivation

Our first session

During our first session, you can expect a thorough psychiatric evaluation to understand your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, and overall mental health. I will ask detailed questions about your mood, anxiety, sleep, past treatments, medications, and any other factors that may impact your well-being.
