Hi there, I'm Gary!

Compassion, science, and healer are three words that describe me as a therapist. I treat therapy as a collaboration where I help you meet your goals. I believe therapy should be a haven where you can discuss your issues without judgment.

My approach

I incorporate therapy's art, science, and compassion to tailor my therapeutic style to your individual needs. I have training and experience utilizing multiple treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Ritual Prevention, and Written Exposure Therapy.

My focus

I specialize in working with adults suffering from mood disorders, anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Trauma, and self-esteem.

My communication style

I communicate with compassion and a non-judgmental approach. Our conversations will be a collaborative process where I listen closely to understand your unique needs and goals. I tailor my communication style to what works best for you, always striving to create a safe space for open and honest dialogue.

My journey to mental healthcare

I earned my Master of Social Work degree and am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, which means I am recognized for reaching a level of competence in delivering quality Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
