I utilize Person-Centered, Rogerian, Motivational Interviewing, and Jungian approaches in my practice.
My focus
I have expertise in recovery/addiction (trauma, personality disorders, codependency) due to working as an LMFT in the field for over 8 years.
My communication style
My goal for your path in therapy is to develop a relationship where you are able to experience trust and process your inner child in order to be your authentic self.
My journey to mental healthcare
After experiencing my own childhood/early adulthood trauma and entering 13 years of therapy myself, I have utilized the approaches that assisted me in "finding my voice" with others which is tremendously gratifying.
My goals for you
My goal is to assist clients with coping skills and resources to utilize throughout the therapy process. I typically provide homework to assist them in being able to function independently.
My first session with you
I provide unconditional positive regard and emotional support in a safe, comforting, non-judgmental environment where we are able to build rapport.
