My communication style

Although we should be mindful of our words, "Intimacy does not walk on eggshells". I am not going to tell you that I provide a "non-judgmental" atmosphere. In fact, all clinicians are trained to judge patients' judgment. What we don't want to do is be pre-judgmental.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was an engineering major who was steered towards psychology by my college history professor because he thought I had the capacity to understand the world in meaningful and practical ways.

My goals for you

Goals are a collaborative process. There are different types of goals: (e.g., symptom reduction goals, skill acquisitional goals, and functional impairment goals). I help patients feel more connected to themselves in order to identify meaningful goals.

Our first session

For our meetings, driving is forbidden, you must be in California, and I take notes. Please be in a safe, private, and comfortable space with a strong reception. Please let me know in advance if you generally run late and/or like to multitask during our meetings.
