My communication style

I establish a trusting, non-judgmental, confidential environment where you feel heard and understood. I listen deeply and empathize with whatever you bring to therapy. I also believe in creating a comfortable space where humor has its place alongside serious work.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began therapy in my 40s for life issues I wasn't prepared to handle. The process was so helpful that it changed my career focus entirely, leading me to complete my master's and dedicate myself to helping others learn and practice new skills to manage their lives in a healthy manner.

My goals for you

I use worksheets to help you identify what you value in life and what matters most to you. Goals need to be realistic, based on your values, and reflect how you wish to live a value-driven life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Our first session

I'll ask questions to understand your life journey and what brought you to therapy. I clarify my role as your emotional and cognitive support person, someone who's not emotionally involved but deeply committed to your growth. We'll explore your values to focus our work on what's important to you.
