Hi there, I'm Sharon!

My name is Sharon Davis. My license number is 85871. My approach to therapy is eclectic, including talk therapy, attachment therapy, and somatic approaches. I specialize in somatics, which is extremely helpful to release, stuck, old energies in the body.

My approach

Somatic psychotherapy is a very well-researched approach that offers great relief instantly by utilizing breathwork and body focus.

My focus

I work with all types of clients, and yet the somatic approach works extremely well with depression, anxiety, and trauma.

My communication style

I am a very heart-centered, compassionate woman. I utilize sharing personal experiences where appropriate and professional. I have great personal experiences, including divorce, cancer, parenting, and teaching.

My journey to mental healthcare

My initial career was that of a middle school teacher. I found that my skills were primarily in human relationships; I have a deep understanding, compassion, and concern for humans.

My goals for you

I am an excellent listener and work to incorporate what I hear into working with a client to set goals. Goals are continually monitored through each session.

My first session with you

Kindness, excellent listening, compassion, empathy, and a lot of mirroring of what I hear. Goals may be set on the first session if appropriate.
