As a Licensed Therapist for nearly 15 years, I know that life can be challenging at times. The first step towards change is getting the help you need.
My approach
I work in a non-judgmental and collaborative style, which focuses on gaining insight, improving self-esteem, and identifying helpful coping strategies for dealing with life's stressors. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), Family Systems, Humanistic, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness-Based modalities.
My focus
I work with individuals dealing with diverse issues including anger management, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, stress, schizophrenia, and developing coping skills.
My communication style
I believe the best prognosis for success is to create a strong therapeutic relationship. I aim to connect with you in a collaborative, non-judgmental way.
My journey to mental healthcare
From 2003 to 2006, I completed my clinical hours for licensure at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. This experience, spanning nearly 4 years, set me on the path to becoming a licensed therapist.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you gain insight, improve your self-esteem, and identify coping strategies to better deal with life's challenges. I want to support you in becoming who you wish to be.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will begin building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and understanding. I will seek to learn about your challenges and goals, and together we will start mapping out a plan to get you the help and support you need. Taking this first step can be hard, but it's a courageous and important one on your journey of growth and change.
