I'm passionate about supporting people where they struggle and helping them meet their goals. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you in that process.

My focus

I enjoy working with people motivated to learn and willing to try something different. My experience includes anxiety and depression, chronic stress, workplace stressors, relationship and communication issues, parenting challenges, life changes, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and supporting LGBTQIA+ folks and young adults.

My approach

I believe you are the expert of your own experience, and my role is to facilitate you in finding the solutions that work best for you. No two clients have the same needs, so no two sessions will look the same. As we get to know each other, we will discuss your strengths, challenges, and goals to determine what strategies could benefit you.

My communication style

I'm direct, open, and honest while also being highly empathetic. I'm a fierce ally and nurturer, but I don't take myself too seriously, so I use humor to make a point. My goal is for you to feel comfortable telling me anything because you know I won't judge or shame you. I aim to be supportive while guiding us toward your goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I could have benefited from more supportive people in my early years, and it's gratifying when I can be that for another person. I truly believe therapy can be a powerful tool in helping people have better days ahead. Being able to witness people make progress and supporting them in achieving their goals is the perfect job for me.

You are the expert of your own experience, so you are in the driver's seat when it comes to goal setting. We will discuss your challenges, needs, and priorities to come up with a plan together that works best for you. If it's not working, let's talk about it and try something differently.

Our first session

Opening up to someone new can be very hard. My goal is to make that as simple and comfortable as possible while we get to know each other. By the end of the first session, we should have a shared understanding of what you are hoping to get from our time together and a plan for next steps.
