I am passionate about supporting people in reaching their goals and finding meaning and healing within their relationships. I work with youth, families, and adults who have experienced trauma.

My focus

My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable space for clients to learn to manage depression, anxiety, and stressful life situations. I enjoy working in areas of maternal mental health, trauma, and attachment.

My approach

I have a person-centered approach to therapy and understand that trauma is anything that overwhelms one's ability to cope with a situation and impacts future behaviors and feelings. I operate from a feedback-informed therapeutic space to ensure the client is in charge of their session and working toward their goals.

My communication style

I work to create a safe space for clients to feel accepted, worthy, and able to share their hard experiences without shame or judgment. I work to make sure that the client is in charge of their session and provide opportunities for feedback to ensure that their goals are being addressed in the session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was attracted to social work early in life after experiences in and around the recovery community and engaging with multiple foster families. I am passionate about supporting people in seeing the strengths inside themselves, being a witness to their journey, and being part of a community of people who want to see people live their best lives.

My goals for you

I take a client-centered/SMART goals approach of specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-focused. While providing flexibility, goals can change over the course of treatment and are not set in stone.

Our first session

Clients should expect our first session to be spent focused on building relationships, learning about one another, and identifying the why for participation in treatment at this stage in their lives.
