I understand that being comfortable with a therapist can take time. In your first session with me, you can expect casual questions and discussions for us to get to know each other better and build trust. I will spend the majority of the time actively listening to your concerns and recognizing the strengths that you already possess.

My journey to mental healthcare

I often joke that I accidentally became a therapist. In reality, I do not remember a time when I did not want to be a therapist. As a young adult, I believed that becoming a therapist would be too time-consuming, so I explored many other career paths before coming back to my 1st love, mental health.

My goals for you

I recognize that you are the expert on your own life and have many ideas when it comes to goals. For this reason, I listen carefully to your concerns, strengths, and needs to support the outcomes that matter most to you.
