Hi there, I'm Jeffrey!

I am a licensed therapist with experience providing clinical therapy to a diverse range of adult clients. My practice focuses on utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist individuals in developing insights, coping skills, assertive communication, and appropriate boundaries thus adding an amount of grit to clients' lives. These new tools will add to overcoming challenges such as ADD/ADHD, anger, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and loss.

My approach

My clinical approach is centered on providing a non-judgmental space and actively listening to my clients. I utilize CBT along with other modalities such as Mindfulness-Based techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Supportive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based, and Solution Focus approaches to tailor treatment to each individual's unique evolvement themselves.

My focus

I work with a wide variety of clients including individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds. My clients encompass those seeking a solution within their lives, hardworking individuals, parents, brothers, and sisters, including individuals in the entertainment industry, medical professionals, social services, and military personnel. Additionally, I have experience helping adults diagnosed with ADD/ADHD to strengthen their mental focus, work to overcome distractions and decrease impulsiveness.

My communication style

I believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My communication style is empathetic, and direct, and focuses on creating a safe environment for clients to openly express themselves. I strive to listen attentively and provide feedback and guidance to facilitate personal growth and positive change.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to mental healthcare began with intervention counseling in public school districts. I then began providing clinical therapy to adults, having completed my hours for licensure under the supervision of several experienced therapists at various locations from 2016 to 2019. These diverse clinical settings solidified my passion for helping others overcome personal struggles and inspired me to establish my own practice.

My goals for you

My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights necessary to navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and improve your overall well-being. I aim to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your relationships, and cultivate a more fulfilling life. Through our work together, I hope to have a positive impact that extends beyond our sessions. I believe that helping you evolve in therapy will help those individuals in your life that I will never meet benefit from our work together, this is why I thoroughly enjoy my career as a helper to others.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and collaboratively identify your goals. I will gather information about your background, current concerns, and any relevant experiences to gain a comprehensive understanding of your unique situation. This session will also provide an opportunity for you to ask questions, express any concerns, and determine if we are a good fit to work together. My priority is to create a comfortable and supportive environment from the very beginning of our therapeutic relationship.
