Therapy with me can be a place to talk freely, get honest feedback, or zero in on a problem you’re ready to change. I work with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, and much more. I bring a relaxed style, humor, and a willingness to address what others may avoid.

My focus

You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or a major life change, or something more complex that doesn’t fit neatly into one label. I work with teens and adults across a wide range of concerns, including trauma, neurodivergence, and long-standing personality patterns, and we’ll focus on what’s most useful to you.

My approach

Some clients come to therapy ready to tackle a specific problem; others need room to talk before they know what they want to change. I make space for both. I’ll listen closely, help you identify what’s working, and respectfully point out inconsistencies when something doesn’t quite add up.

My communication style

My communication style is relaxed, conversational, and honest. I use humor when it fits, listen closely, and won’t just nod along if something doesn’t add up. I’ll ask direct questions, point out patterns with curiosity, and make room for you to disagree, clarify, or see things differently.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path to therapy wasn’t a straight line. I started in business, but the work never felt like the right fit. I eventually found therapy and realized I was much more drawn to honest conversations, understanding people, and helping them make meaningful changes.

My goals for you

We’ll start by figuring out whether you need a clear plan, a few practical changes, or more time to understand what’s getting in the way. From there, we’ll set realistic goals, build on what’s already working, and adjust as we learn what actually helps.

Our first session

The first session is mostly about getting a clear sense of what brought you in, what’s been happening, and what you want from therapy, even if you’re not sure yet. I’ll explain how I work, ask direct but practical questions, and help us decide whether you need space to talk, a plan, or both.
