My communication style

You can expect me to be personable, compassionate, empathic, accommodating, and have a sense of humor, while being able to be direct and honest with you when needed. I aim to create a space where my clients feel heard, valued, and genuinely supported. I strive to help clients uncover the positive aspects within their challenging narratives.

My journey to mental healthcare

Since I was a young kid, and to this very day, I have always been naturally drawn to helping those who are in pain and going through difficult times. It wasn’t until I graduated from college that my academic advisor encouraged me to pursue a career in mental health because of my “innate gift of compassion and connection” with others.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting with clients begins by establishing rapport first, learning your motivation, values, and reason you are seeking therapy. This process helps us identify how you envision your life improving, as a team we will work together to ensure you set a goal that is feasible and feels realistic for you to achieve.

Our first session

What you can expect from our first session together is for us to complete an initial assessment, this is an opportunity for me to ask you questions about your background, current challenges, strengths, what you hope to achieve in therapy, and how I can best support you. This session will also help you see if we are a good match.
