My communication style

I provide a grounded, stable presence for those who are used to more tumultuous environments. My style is non-judgmental, open, and inquisitive; I truly enjoy hearing my clients' perspectives and want you to bring your whole self to therapy. I hold hope for transformation when life gets too heavy and celebrate with you when obstacles are conquered.

My journey to mental healthcare

My passion for collaborating with and caring for others led me to the therapy path. My experiences working with a myriad of populations has shown me the potential for and joy within healing. I love helping clients act upon their values to create a life worth living.

My goals for you

I primarily work from an ACT and CBT lens, while incorporating interventions and perspectives from other modalities. I am a client-centered provider and have found that our relationship and ability to bring our authentic selves to therapy is most helpful at helping you to move toward change.

Our first session

In our first few sessions, my style is exploratory in nature; we work toward establishing a full picture of the issues at-hand and what changes you want to move toward. Once these have been uncovered, I provide validation and a supportive presence, while also gently challenging or highlighting patterns that cause continued distress in your life.
