My communication style

I use warm, empathic, and active listening to create an environment where clients feel safe. I balance validating clients' feelings while challenging them to look at difficulties from a new perspective or take on new challenges.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because it combines my passions and strengths. I love being able to create space to listen and help those in need. I believe healthy families are the foundation of healthy communities and feel called to be a part of helping the next generation.

My goals for you

As a social worker, I believe in the value of self-determination and working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals. My job is to support clients in clarifying their goals and taking actionable steps to achieve them.

Our first session

Our first session will be a chance for me to listen and learn about you. I will also be gathering information about your personal history, family, present challenges, and future goals. We will also spend some time getting to know one another and building a positive relationship that will be the foundation of our work together moving forward.
