My focus

My specialties and interests are supporting and empowering mothers having difficulty with pre- and postpartum, parenting transitions, new baby care, parenting challenges with toddlers/teens, or adapting to a child's new diagnosis. I also have a lot of experience with trauma-informed care, anxiety, and depression within the adult population.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, empathetic, and goal-focused with touches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused.

I hope to be able to provide you with support through the challenging times you may be experiencing by providing a safe space to talk and guidance through those difficult times.

My journey to mental healthcare

I entered this field because I'm passionate about helping people navigate difficult transitions and find their strength. Supporting families through parenting challenges and mental health struggles has been deeply meaningful work.

Our first session

Our first session is typically a 'get to know you' time where I ask some direct questions to gather a picture of what you may need or want to work on in future sessions. I can also share a bit about myself and the style/approach I typically take within sessions. This is also a time when you can ask questions about therapy in general.
