Hi there, I'm Julie!

Hi, my name is Julie Ray, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Many of us have or are facing challenges in our lives whether they are current stresses, past distresses, or struggling with coping. My goal is to create a supportive environment for individuals to work towards their goals and start on a path of healing.

My approach

I utilize an integrated therapy approach based on each person's needs and individual strengths. Couples counseling can help to handle urgent issues, address ongoing challenges, or learn relationship skills in a balanced environment. Play and Art Therapy are utilized when working with children and teens to provide a more engaging space.

My focus

We can face many challenges in our lives whether they are current stresses, past distresses, or trauma. My clinical work with individuals, couples, and families considers different stages that people may be in their lives, struggles that teens may be facing, exploring various distresses that individuals face including trauma, anxiety, stress, relationships difficulties, and depression to name a few, as well as social/cultural distress individuals and families may experience.

My communication style

There are times in life when one needs a safe and non-judgmental space to work on issues and challenges that may arise. I strive to provide an accepting environment where one can be yourself and work towards identified goals. I provide a strength-based approach when helping individuals, couples, and families overcome obstacles they may be facing.

My goals for you

Together, we will explore issues or distresses you are facing and set goals to address these.

My first session with you

In our first session, we will explore issues that you are facing and create a plan moving forward to address goals. We will also work to establish how we will move forward and answer any questions that you may have
