My approach is best fit for teens and young adults who are managing different challenges of stress and life transitions. I have experience in providing support to those managing anxiety, depression, stress, and conflict with peers/family. I also specialize in working with the AAPI population and the new immigrant population.

I believe in the importance of prioritizing the creation of a safe, non-judgmental, and culturally encompassing therapeutic environment where clients can freely explore their emotions and thoughts.

My style is patient, calm, and empathetic. I do my best to ensure your voice is heard and your feelings are validated. I provide a nonjudgmental space for you to be your authentic self in session.

My journey to mental healthcare

As an empathic and optimistic person, I grew up always drawn to connecting with others' humanness and believed in people's potential to achieve self-fulfillment. Growing up as an Asian-American woman from an immigrant family, I saw limited resources in my community relating to mental health.

I believe in the importance of you creating your own therapeutic goals. I collaborate with you throughout treatment to discuss and track progress. You know yourself best, and creating personal goals acts as motivation to achieve growth and success.
