Hi there, I'm Max!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Chico, CA, and working with clients throughout California via Telehealth. I have over four years of experience as a therapist at a domestic and sexual violence agency, serving clients from diverse backgrounds with high levels of trauma and crisis.
My focus
I have extensive experience working with clients suffering from complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Many of the clients I have worked with are processing significant grief and loss, the challenges of making big changes in their lives, or living with mental health concerns and/or neurodivergence.
My approach
I believe in a collaborative approach, working with each client to develop a therapeutic style to meet their unique needs. I work to evoke my client's innate capacity for healing, utilizing Internal Family Systems as a framework to understand the impact of a client's experiences, while utilizing attachment-based modalities.
