My communication style

I prioritize open and judgment-free collaborations with my clients to determine how best to address their concerns and help everyone in the family feel healthy and happy with themselves and their relationships. You can count on me to be solution-focused and to remain patient and calm in any situation.

My journey to mental healthcare

I went into the counseling profession due to my love of working with children and a particular focus on bonding and attachment. I continue to be driven when I get to see change and positive growth in both the child and the parent, which often leads to a decrease in overall stress.

My goals for you

I believe that therapy is a partnership and work to hear not only the concerns of the parents, but also from the child, in creating goals and expectations. While I have expertise in the interventions I use, you have expertise in your family, and I believe that if we collaborate, positive results can be seen.

Our first session

In our first session, I will want to hear from you and your child what is working and what the stressors are. I will ask clarification questions to help me understand the dynamics. I will share my background and determine what goals you wish to reach in therapy, providing you with interventions and a treatment plan.
