Thank you for taking this first and sometimes scary step! I work with adults and specialize in life transitions, anxiety, and stress-related concerns. My approach to therapy is accepting, non-judgmental, solution-focused, and interactive.

I have had the privilege to work with many individuals varying from not feeling okay or like themselves to severe and persistent mental illness. My style and approach have been a good fit for individuals experiencing challenges with life transitions, work, school, relationships, anxiety, and stress-related concerns.

I strive to create a warm, safe, and healing space with each person I work with. Therapy does not look the same for any two people; therefore, I utilize an eclectic approach to best meet your needs, which may include interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma Informed Care, Solution Focused Therapy, and Seeking Safety.

My communication style is accepting, non-judgmental, and personable. I believe change begins with curiosity and a willingness to explore ourselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to entrust me with your stories, experiences, and anything you would like to talk about while we work towards growth, self-exploration, and your goals.

I was drawn to a career in therapy because I have always wanted to help people feel like the best version of themselves. Life is not always easy, and we all need a safe space to process, explore, and talk about our feelings and concerns. I will be here with you to support, guide, challenge, and empower you during your journey.

We will work together to identify and define what you would like to work on and accomplish during our time together. These goals will help guide our sessions and help us to stay focused and motivated. I will provide support and suggestions when creating goals that will be empowering and increase your personal well-being.

Our first session

During our first session together, my goal is to begin building rapport and trust within our therapeutic relationship. We will spend the majority of time talking about how you have been feeling recently and what brings you to therapy. I will do this by asking you questions to better understand your concerns while also learning more about you.
