I specialize in treating depression and anxiety, along with the factors that often make them worse—relationship problems, work or family stress, or issues with alcohol or other drugs. I provide a safe space for you to talk about what's bothering you, then help you find the tools to feel better.

I work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, codependency, relationship issues, alcohol or drug problems, childhood sexual abuse, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

My approach

I tailor my therapeutic approach to your unique needs and goals. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy to best address what you're experiencing.

My communication style

I'm very down-to-earth, and my relaxed communication style seems to help clients feel less anxious in therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always been someone who listened more than I spoke. I was observant and noticed what seemed to be going on emotionally with others. I became a therapist as a natural course of things because of how I already interacted with the world.

My goals for you

My goal is for you to feel better. We'll work together to help you gain insight into your thoughts and feelings, identify behavioral patterns that aren't working, and find the tools you need to change and grow.

We'll discuss what brings you into therapy and what you'd like to work on. I'll gather some of your history to better understand your life thus far. You can see what my style is like and ask me questions. I'm happy to chat before we set up an appointment if you prefer.
