I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, life transitions, grief, phase of life difficulties, and those motivated to strengthen their ability to cope with any stressor. My focus is to be here for you, provide an empathetic approach, and walk alongside you in facing your adversities.

My approach

My approach to therapy is flexible and individualized to your unique needs. I like to incorporate my trauma lens, CBT, DBT, attachment-based, problem-solving, and strength-based based into supporting you to meet your full potential. My goal is to empower you with supportive strategies to overcome your struggles and enhance self-awareness.

My communication style

I like to provide a warm, validating, empathetic, and gentle approach. I provide a supportive space while having clear and open communication about readiness for therapy and your expectations of me as your therapist.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into therapy began with my desire to help others, especially those within my community. I come from a Latino/Mexican background where mental health was not really talked about, and I wanted to change that. I’m a big believer that things happen for a reason and that we have the power to change what no longer serves us.

My goals for you

I believe therapy is a collaboration between you and me. Together, we will identify goals that are important to you. We can always adapt and change goals as needed. I will walk alongside you to support you and guide you with tools and strategies to better manage your symptoms and enhance empowerment.

During our first session, we will take our time to get to know each other, build rapport, and I will provide a safe space for you to share your story and explore what brings you into therapy.
